Who it's for

Active Nasdaq traders who want quick in-and-out trades on strong candles.

§ 01 How it trades

The rules, in order

  1. Looks for a 5-minute momentum candle: 1.5 times normal range and volume, a strong close beyond the last 10 bars.
  2. Places a limit order at the middle of that candle, good for 15 minutes.
  3. Fixed 35-point target and 50-point stop from the fill.
  4. No new entries after 3:00 PM ET. Any trade is closed at 3:55 PM ET.

§ 02 Market context

Fixed points, not chart levels

Nasdaq Blitz uses a 5-minute momentum candle as its signal, then places a limit order at the middle of that candle for 15 minutes. Unlike the Reload bots, its exits don't depend on the candle: a fixed 35-point target and a fixed 50-point stop from the fill.

It defaults to 2 contracts. On NQ a 50-point stop is a large dollar amount, so check the size before you enable it.

When this setup struggles

  • Strong reversals through the midpoint, which reach the 50-point stop.
  • Repeated signals on a choppy day, since several trades a day are possible.
  • Forgetting the 2-contract default on minis.

§ 03 Risk and settings

Risk rules

  • One position or working order at a time.
  • Daily loss limit, $500 by default, adjustable. Hitting it also cancels any working order.
  • The stop is wider than the target, so a few losses can outweigh many small gains. Size accordingly.

Before you turn it on

  • Load it on a 1-minute MNQ or NQ chart. It adds the 5-minute series itself.
  • Defaults to 2 contracts. Change it to match your account.
  • The daily loss limit defaults to $500 and is adjustable. Hitting it also cancels any working order.

Contract size and the other inputs are adjustable in the bot's settings. The defaults are the settings we tested with.
